Re: Patch 2.5 (WIP)
Wouldn't this just be another call-in that gives an epic power bash potential to the Inquisitor? Now she doesn't even need sight for the Banewolf and the red+req cost is less than that for a Banewolf. I get that you still have to upgrade them to get their melta weapons but it is still an easy gen b...

Re: Cost considerations for DA's
When I'm not being a GK apologist, I enjoy adding concrete numbers to debates! . I love the maths, but quoting a squad's health and DPS like it is a single unit can be misleading, since model loss decreases DPS in squad's, while an "equivalent" single unit should have constant DPS until d...

Is the change you're looking for.
But it feels like it is more than double the damage.
I don't see the original source, but as quoted, it is TWENTY times the damage.

Re: A Few Eldar Questions
I've not got the experience to back it up, but while you keep asserting that FD are an anti-vehicle choice, while differentiating them from anti-everything, the codex says their weapons still have .8 accuracy against small targets and do 16.8 DPS per model to infantry, while WS do 18.26 dps and have...

Re: canon?
When I reread the lore, I noticed it mentioned adhering to any surface, and manual (voice) detonation, which made me think it was more like a planted (satchel/improvised?) charge, than a thrown grenade. Which changes little if fire dragons are already OP.

- Supression doesn't affect Meleedamage and Speed , but it slows the movement. So it is still beneficial, but way less than against ranged. Wait-a unit attacked by melee must also melee. E.g. banshees But suppression e.g. warshout doesn't debuff meleeing targets except movement speed, and finally, ...

More varied vehicle critical hits, vision/los blockers and diversions, more air support, more varied globals, like world in conflict's tactical support. No warning markers for enemy globals. Building assault/defense; I don't know how, but make it happen. Oh, and some kind of fragile civilian mechani...

-Melee does almost nothing against units in Buildings (btw, most buildings have only one exit, so always grenade it). And meleeunits in Buildings can only shoot out with their weak pistols. Ironically. IRL building clearing is probably a major opportunity for close range/melee. What about attacking...

I'm new; you might see a bit more influx of players like me due to the relic humble bundle a few months ago. I came to elite when I found out relic had bankrupt and thus wouldn't support the game, and would never fix the unarmed HWT issue.

In the codex, "fire while moving" is set to 'no'. Kiting would be much less efficient from stationary firing.

http://www.dawnofwar.info/index.php?page=elite/stat_glossary#upkeep The codex page you link to does not specify what is the most expensive unit, nor does it specify if upkeep is fractional. New upkeep question: the tax applies first to the most expensive models, right? What if the upkeep from a single model were high, and its population were high, but its upkeep per pop was average, like a fire prism- upkeep per pop is 2.55, so upkeep is 38.25. . And you also had an Autarch, with upkee...

But starting squads you don't pay for AFAIK, and are all used at first for the same role: capturing and/or fighting other starting squads and heroes.

Most eldar units have an upkeep/pop ratio of 2.55. Avatar has 2.73. If they were all avatars, upkeep would be 70*2.73=191.2. That's assuming you had 4.76 avatars.

What are the stats on an activated power node? Specifically, the central structure, not the peripheral generators. If you can decap the node without touching the generators, your opponent still loses power from all the generators, right?

Are there any tricks built in to the economy to balance the starting squads? Like taking the cost of each out of the req at start? Or giving orks an extra four population cap (or minus four base population)?
