Ive tried the base game again ... and its quite better imo in many ways. Including Baneblade. Once upon a time strong shot means that minimum range is acceptable for both weapons. It also has a bigger health (3750) It is also able to defend itself from armor due to better health / seemingly stronger...

LC feels pretty good, but if you can somehow manage to have a blob of guardsmen with lord general (not squad size increase) you can get fragile 300/25 6 pop squads with great anti-heavy infantry damage. aside from the kb grenade launcher, they have nothing that others dont for less. Others with similar capabilities dont cost power to reinforce either. when looking at stats, they are underwhelming except for hp amount/suppression resist. it needs min range reduction. Otherwise it is big and thats about it. its AI is overall worse than a garrisoned Chim., AT 55 dps overall. lord general retinue comissar has 22 range, unlike the rest making attack order makes the squad basically run into melee range.
