Knob is only OP if the enemy faction has poor detection. Its the reason Knob has been historicaly very strong vs Eldar for example. I would say that some of the Ork stuff is over performing though. Burnas + Nob turn sluggas into monsters and coupled with the very cheap truck it becomes kind of silly...

I am not sure wheter the IG problems are based within the IG rooster or within other races. Elite gives out much more options for IG to counter setup teams, given how Catachans are cheaper and you got spotters.

Drop pod is broken. It is a major counter to the biggest goal for the opponent, bleeding models, to delay the tier 3 tech.

I have found that banshees are pretty much worthless vs OM/GK. Reapers on the other hand are great.

The same reason Drop pods are super strong and cheap. Overcompensation for SM sort of sucking in retail.

I have tried reapers. But that means giving GKs the initiative in tier 2. But perhaps in the new patch..

As far as I am concerned, Kommando drop needs a an energy cost. It provides a tier 3 squad in tier 2. It is also one of the reasons Knob is great against Eldar, due to not slowing down tech at all, while providing orks with a strong squad for map presence that is power free. WS might be great, but they are also one of the heaviest squads to sustain in a game. They are also very fragile so more often then not one blast will send them home. Not saying that they are bad or anything, but they cost an arm and a leg and are made of tissue paper.

I am having trouble figuring out EvGK. Can anyone give me a basic rundown of the strats, BOs and Cap orders one would use to fight them?
I do pretty solidly in tier 1 but come tier 2 I do not know what to build. And going hyper tier 1 seems to be map dependant.

I have this feeling that some of the more extreme tier 3 stuff is a bit to easy to get or is too good now that tier 1 and 2 have been normalized. Perhaps solving the Ork issue would be by simply upping energy costs a tad instead of nerfing?
