I agree with Alexander, with all the aforementioned things becoming a norm now, the Imperial Knight is needed. And in fact they can be taken by any army (expect to see 3 Wraithknights with a couple Imperial Knights :P ). Only Tyranids cannot get one, because no one loves them :( .

Whoops, I totally missed that :P . I think that Carnifexes only get speed up synapse, not sure about the HP regen one though. What I'm sure is that they don't get melee or ranged synapse.

For Chaos, I think that the Plague Champion is the simplest. He has great globals for beginner and all around play and also, as he doesn't start with any abilities, he does not need too much micro. So I have noticed that sometimes things like Plasma Cannons and even Special attacks occasionaly knockback models in retreat. I guess that is a bug but I just wanted to be sure. (about the Plasma Cannon mostly, the Special attacks KB is definitely a bug :P )

Maybe they can't handle the sheer epicness of a teleporter beacon :P

Seriously though, unless the beacon is in a (very) defensive position I don't think its easy to try and disable it so you can retreat to base in the middle of a combat.

I have noticed that sometimes during a game, a hero/unit randomly gets levels up while they are in base. They were close to leveling prior to being in base, but is that intended or a bug?

Yes, I meant shots, sorry.

i hope ur kidding. 3-4 sniper scouts in t1 is the most lame build and is super-easily countered.

I was making a comparison with the Vindicare's damage. If it is a viable built or not is irrelevant :) .

couldn't a V.A snipe a librarian sub commander or even your hero in 2-3 shots?

That's the whole point of the unit. Kill or force a retreat. Same thing is with 3-4 sniper scouts and that's even a T1 built.

Maybe make him switch ammo instead of ability different bullets? Like the Sternguard, he would require more micro to be effective, since without the right ammo type he would be useless. So here is my suggested change: Hellfire Rounds: Large burst damage to Infantry, HI, SHI and Commander armor types...
