Re: Sternguard and a new ability
I would replace ATSKNF with Combi-weapons that are active for the duration of ability. Two Plasma Guns, a Flamer, and a Melta - something along those lines.

Re: Imperial Guard / T3 Super-unit variant
If anything would be an appropriate foil to the Baneblade considering the Imperial Guard's nature, I figure it would be some form of artillery.

Re: Grenade Launchers for Imperial Guardsmen/Storm Troopers?
Incendiary and Explosive shells share a cooldown so really the two of them should only count as one way The Incendiary shell being available gives the Spotter area denial which has a different strategic application from damage and knockback. They do share a cooldown, but they don't accomplish the s...

Re: Grenade Launchers for Imperial Guardsmen/Storm Troopers?
If you want Grenade Launchers to add a little more impact on Suppression Team but don't want to replace Spotters... give Grenade Launchers to the Spotters. Now they have some soft anti-suppression utility when their abilities are on countdown. The Spotter already has a "backup" - if you m...

Re: Grenade Launchers for Imperial Guardsmen/Storm Troopers?
Catachans are the infantry you're looking for because they already have access to grenade launchers. The Catachan tradeoff is that while they don't continue disrupting once disruption has been dealt (aka they do not remain in the area and tie up the suppression in melee), they're not stuck there eit...

Actually, the Servo Arm animates when the Techmarine is repairing and building. It may also have other animations, but those are the two I know of off of the top of my head.

Re: Patch 2.3.1 (Tentative balance changelog preview)
Well Kithrixx, I think you are a fount of good ideas. I don't think there is anything remotely sacred about keeping the SG upgrade attached to Tactical marines. In fact, I think it's a nuisance. I'd rather drop pod them in or just build them at base as needed. And I'm still liking your version of t...

Re: Patch 2.3.1 (Tentative balance changelog preview)
A while back someone, and I'm very sorry that I can't remember who, suggested that they could code the drop pod to spawn a squad created by the SM base. Essentially turning the drop pod into a delivery system for a unit of your choice, at the cost of zeal. An idea that is both lore appropriate and ...

Re: Is Wraithlord balanced wrt to other walkers?
I feel like the WL should keep its melee resistance if it upgrades to a Brightlance because it's not actually replacing a portion of the walker's melee weaponry like it would be with, say, an AC or Melta Dread. The Brightlance itself should be nerfed, either with reduced overall damage or disabling ...

Re: Drop Pod - Make up your mind
Nobody wants it for the ability to drop units anywhere on the battlefield, you use call ins for specifical purposes such as overwhelming your opponent with squads or replacing a loss. Apparently it's more than "nobody" because that's exactly what it is right now with the Tac squad. Don't ...

Re: Plague champions 3rd Armour upgrade ideas (brainstorm)
I really, really, really do not want to see a Plague Champion wielding a Heavy Bolter. He can already make turrets. If Chaos is to get a heavy weapons hero, it should be the Slannesh hero. Heavy Bolters are loud, and Slannesh says more loud more better. Anyways. If we're tossing around ideas, an arm...

I had myself a bit of an idea regarding the drop pod. ⋅ Remove the Drop Pod's Tactical Squad. ⋅ If an Infantry unit (Tacs, Salts, Devs, Plas Devs, Scouts, Libby) is being trained, using the Drop Pod will finish training the unit instantly and deploy the unit at the Drop Pod's lo...

Maybe we should reconsider other unit to go in the Drop pod [...] a diferent unit to each SM hero I like that idea. Re: Mark of Khorne, CSM
Why do people just throw out random numbers without doing any research? It's hardly without research. They're still vulnerable to stuns, knockback, suppression, and kiting. I'm of the opinion that they should be absolute monsters in melee combat but remain easy to counter (see: no jump, sprint, tel...

Re: Mark of Khorne, CSM
I still think that KCSM should get splash damage. I mean, not FULL splash damage - maybe like each model dealing 10% or 15% of their total damage in an area around their main target. Either that or the Aspiring Champion gets full splash damage for his attacks to make him more unique/special/impactin...

Re: LSON Mods and stuff
Going out on a limb here, but what about the Banshee or Ranger animation sets? They seem like they would be more "nimble", and it's my understanding that Eversors rely more on speed rather than strength because their weapons are typically things that require finesse.

Re: IG: Melee option for Lord General
I was wondering how bad it would be for the Lord General to have a melee option in T1. Any main hero of any race can have a decent melee capacity except this one Mekboy disagrees. That said, the Lord General already has pretty decent melee strength. By default, he's got 22 Melee DPS (this is also c...

The Wraithlord skeleton would also have to be widened because as it stands it is too tall and thin for such an enormous unit. A Dreadknight would be interesting as an alternate to the Land Raider, but then we start begging the question of "how many super units should each faction have" and...
