Solving the Chaos vs. IG Faction War Enigma

Chaos gets crushed by IG in faction wars which seems to defy intuition.

Has Chaos usurped its IG-owning reputation? If so, what should Chaos do to reclaim this honourable title?

My suggestion: focus down commanders with support abilities then strike with LTGB, curse of tzeentch, dark flames, noxious cloud. And use malignant blindness and sigil of the rift (alternate with icon). Send heroic bloodcrushers to kill manticores.

Raptors are Essentially important once IG pulls out their Big guns ,Leman Russes ,Manticores & BB . Their so underutilized in Chaos vs IG MU nowadays ,the only Mobile hunter kill squadron capable of putting pressure on LR and instantaneously taking out Manticores unexpectedly . You can use PM + Raptors w Melta-guns conjuction with Khorne worship ,combine that with Malignant blindness or Bloodlust .

I think even KCSM are required for their durability vs mass IG blob and tackling IG heroes , 3 GUO would"ve benefit better then in T3 other then LR phobos sitting ducks under Heavy artillery bombardments ,too much of a gamble getting Phobos trying to outgunned Leman russ under Bunker repair till Chaos allows them bunkers to become a liability .. Chaos always had fantastic globals vs IG just to screw with em. GUO should give IG heroes a run for their Money ,still Heretics be useful supporting the Big fellow and Chaos terminators alongside ,i just don't see getting TCSM worth it vs Ogryens at all. They get ripped to shreds by Kasrkin ,even Mass IG range blob. Havocs snaring suppression teams won't cut it end-game ,not even Sigil of rift . i figure Khorne worship dodges Manticores strikes & Tzeetch ones can put the hurt on IG should there be lack of detection . NM/Raptors are good choices generally i say in T1-T2

GM can just execute retreat to avoid Noxious cloud and Let galaxy burn kekekek. It just seems Bad decisions to Chaos vs IG MU where they should considered Raptors/GUO in their unit composition instead of Attrition warfare.

It was a 3v3 game, and IGs were designed as a 3v3 race imo, in a 1v1 the MU favors Chaos.
