Since I can't find an adequate changelog/data-thing:
How much dps do their hellguns do, how much their other weapons?and whats the valu with weapon experties, since i think it did a precentage-damage increase on plasma, but a fixed one on hellguns...
i don't know either, how to read stats out of the data. can uncle or someone who is used to it explain, which files to have a look on to find out about certain units and where they are?

Imma probably add some units i don't know the exact dps and hope for your help, was it because i can't find their stats or because i am too lazy to bring all the changes in elite together and calculate it :D

Weapon Expertise: Special training enhances all Kasrkin weapons. Hellguns: +5 damage. Grenade Launchers: -1 cooldown. Plasma Guns: -30% reload time. Melta Guns: -20% movement speed to vehicle targets.

You have to use Cope's DOW2 Toolbox to find the stats, or in some cases the tooltips in the game. Although most don't have the actual numbers in them.

If you don't have it installed already and can't figure it out, just say so and I'll try to help.

expertise upgrade has no actions in itself but it does trigger special effects on kasrkin weapons:

hellgun:

range 45
dmg 40
burst 2
on hit effect thanks to expertise: 5 piercing dmg
reload freq 1
reload dur 2
cooldown 1

that's 80 dmg every 5 seconds so 16 dps PLUS the 5 piercing dmg on hit which i'm not too sure how to factor it

Plasma gun:

range 38
dmg 40
no burst
cooldown 1.5
wind down 0.5
reload freq average 7
reload dur 3

that's 280 every 17 seconds so 16.47 plasma dps per plasma gun

Melta gun:

range 20
dmg 50
no burst
wind down 0.5
reload freq average 7
reload dur 3
dmg 50
cooldown 1.5
window 0.5
on hit effect thanks to expertise: 20% slow to vehicles, carnifexes and tyrant guards

that's 350 dmg every 17 seconds so 20.58 melta dps per melta gun

I want to say that grenade launchers are disgusting. It is a nerf to your kasrkin when you upgrade it. Kasrkin will be more effective with their standart guns. Meltas are in a bad spot either. Nobody sees that? Nothing will be changed? If this thread is suitable for discussing these weapons then I will bring my thoughts how to fix these weapons.

Lulgrim, I am not a native speaker. Of course I do mistakes. And any advices are welcome but I don't think you made the right choice posting that here. A simple personal message would have been better.

Tex, what does your message exactly mean? I see no threads about kasrkin's weapons. And yes I did suggest my thoughts a while ago in a topic of general discussion.

Arbitor, your message is even more strange to me. What is its meaning?

That weapon-list is a really good thing.
Work on nade launchers and meltas is as well.
