Install help

So after installing beta 10 and update 11, my shortcut on the desktop doesn't work.

My steam files are installed in my C:\ drive, but since it's a relatively small solid-state drive, I have a bigger F:\ drive where I install some bigger games, like dawn of war 2. Does that have anything to do with the shortcut not working for DoW elite?

Most likely. Try installing Steam, DoW 2: Retribution and ELITE Mod (beta 10 follwoed by update 11) on the same drive. Less complications for you and furthermore it should be easier to work/navigate around.

check the path in the shortcut and make sure it's correct. by default the installer assumes that you're installing on the same drive as steam, which is a problem when you are not.
