Postby ShowMeMagik » Fri 18 Apr, 2014 4:33 pm

Is anyway else having capping issues? In the past few days Ive found my units more and more going to cap then standing there not capping.

Do you mean you are unable to cap a certain point as your cursor never changes to that green crosshair or your units just stand there idling even though you issued a capture order?

If its the latter, I think Fog Of War plays a part as to why your unit just stands there idling around though I'm not so sure of the specifics

I've had it happen a while a ago as well. It generally happens when you put a waypoint on a node from your HQ. The newly spawned unit will sometimes walk up to the node and just stand there.

For example at the start of the game I will click to capture a point, the unit will go there then not start capping it. It just seems to be happening a lot recently. I dont think it can be me misclicking but wondered if other people had had a similar problem

Hmm

Closest I can think of is issuing an attack order on a enemy who is capping a point. However, once the point is decapped before my army can get there, I lose vision of the enemy unit in question and my entire army just sits there enjoying the view

There is a bug that occurs occasionally where you lose the ability to target certain points and enemy squads. Normally when this happens it's gg, but if you're in the lead you can sometimes still win by a-moving and using abilities. :|

Happens rarely though.

I've only encountered it twice in my 6 months of Retri, both of which happened in Elite which I play more than Retail. IIRC, first experience I had was being unable to attack an enemy commander and the second was I could not cap a VP point

It happens to me from time to time. I always thought it was me missclicking though. However I more often find myself not being able to revive a teammate having to circle around until I get a good angle or something.

this in particular seems to be related to ground deformation. if they're down in a small crater i've often had problems clicking them.

Messing with the camera angle should be able to help with that... I think
