Cant Join Games anymore :(

Hi

I tried to join some games yesterday,they were all greyed out, i realised there was a hotfix, i applied it, same issue.

There was another user in chat who had the exact same issue..

I installed the hotfix again, it said it was succesful, no change

i rebooted, no change

I tried installing teh hotfix running as an administrator, it game me a "cannot find install directory" error

Might have to reinstall elite as a whole.

games being greyed out usually occurs if you have a different version of elite mod. did you install beta 9 -> hotfix?

pretty sure i had beta 9.. thats the one with the vindicare right?

how do you uninstall elite mod? can you do it without uninstalling dow?

You are missing the beta 9 fix which IS not beta 9 it's just a small update to it.

I am now currently having this issue except for the fact that I had beta 9 and the hotfix both installed and working just fine up until this afternoon.

I am now greyed out of all games.

I am trying to reinstall beta 9 and then the hotfix and we will see what happens from there.

Tex, it's most likely the other people did something wrong when installing ^^ Especially if your beta 9+fix worked in the past.
Also keep in mind other mods are visible in the public games.

Actually it was something wrong with his version. Can't tell why though.

I installed elite mod 2 days ago and when i hopped on the game last stand and find a game were grayed out, help please i really want to play online.

You can't play last stand or matchmaking in Elite. You have to play retail for those.

If you are looking to play ranked then you cannot use matchmaking. You must create a lobby and announce you are doing ranked as well as saving the replay and all that good stuff. If you are going to play ranked you can always speak to Lulgrim, Nurland, or even me since I might be looking at your game.
