Modded custom armies not working(?)

I tried installing the steel legion (very awesome) custom army mod but I can't seem to get them to work. I have the DLC for DK.. I put the folder that was in the .zip inside the mods folder within game assets, but it's not workin!... assistance is needed! emprah help me!

I believe if you want to put them in the Mods folder it has to be in .sga format. When it's in .zip format, you have to change the downloaded file names (of the dlc models only) to the names of the files currently being used and replace those files (so lots of copy and pasting), and if you don't know which files those are, getting them right can be kind of hit or miss. Feel free to give it a go, of course.

Regardless, the Steel Legion will be in the next update, 2.3

Windu is correct - if you look in my thread all the "DLC" packs are under the subheading "Modder Resources", meaning they are not just a case adding them to the mods folder and them appearing in game.

If you follow back to my old thread on relicnews then you will find the DLC Replacer packs that can be used with vanilla DoW.

wow thanks for the quick responses, I knew it had to be a little bit trickier than what I was doing lol

I don't want to mess around with the files I guess, if these changes are coming in 2.3 then ill wait. thx for the help!
