Hi there, I'm a long time lurker/watcher and a short time player and I love the mod (even if I rage and bitch a lot)
My question is in Indrids recent casts hes been using a LOT of decent music that fits in well with the ques, the newest game he posted (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=drG-NPJ80R4)
Has a fantastic crescendo effect at the end that made it really great to watch as the music really made the last few minutes exciting
My question/Request is
1: More music
2: Can music be set to play on que? As when someone is at lets say 250 points, the music begins to get more...upbeat/intense/orchestrated? I really don't know the word
Then as it gets to 50/100 the music gets intense fast and gets you in the mood to win. I've always felt music is a great tool in video games used to create a grand effect.
For those of us here that played Mass Effect if you remember the first game, at the end...The music really sold the deal there it was so "epic" and gave a really nice feel to the game.
I ended up modding my Mass effect 3 multiplayer files to play exciting music on objective waves and extraction, I felt like it made the game feel a LOT more alive

Yes, I can do this. If the designers agree and someone supplies the music it shouldn't be a problem.
Re: New Music
Okay so I've talked to Indrid and thomas about this and here are the main problems/Concerns/Issues
1: Copyrighting music is a huge thing these days so any casts might lose sound etc, but there is always the option to turn it off or what not
2: We would all have to vote on the music rather then throwing it in
3: Depending on how much it alters the code, this could perhaps be an optional download
4: We need Lulgrim and Caeltos to decide
5: Thomas has said this is very easy to edit so it is possible that provided it does not interfere to much with the code that people could play without having to download anything for the music

Re: New Music
I don't see the need to add new music. If you want to listen to another music during the game you can do. If casters want to play another music during their videos they can do. It is quite hard to find music that pleases everyone. Let's not impose something that is unnecessary and might hurt ears and hearts.
I would only be ok for the game to play this whenever my warpthrow + autarch drop is successful.

Re: New Music
if he pulls out a tap hat and cane and tap dances i would be ok with that.
Re: New Music
please think about there is a GEMA list in Germany which denies playing music whitch has copyright at youtube.
so the outcome is that casts with protected music are not available in germany withpout proxtube whitch is only working if you dont use another proxy.
