Start up crashes....droppers before beginning

alot of players are suffering from load up crashes and in game lag....i know its not my end as i keep good housekeeping policy with cleaning refreshing reinstalling and clutter cutting....wondered if anyone can shed any light on this. ive been instructing players to totally delete their documents and retribution folders and uninstall reinstall everything but i dont know if thats helping

Whoever is having this problem should post the specifics of the situation before the crash. Not much can be done if there isn't more information than "the game is crashing for some reason". Is it happening with some people every game? Or only occasionaly, with certain maps, certain settings, etc. As specific as possible.

happens to me, reaver and anomaly a lot, always during the loading screen, not a pattern with maps, heroes etc, so not sure whats causing it, game crashes and comes up with this error report: Crash Report #230388
Cant speak for the others but elite 2.2 beta 11 never crashed like this so it must be something to do with 2.3, will keep you posted if it happens again and will try and spot a pattern

windypops i can give you more insight into what i thinks affecting my games with other players dropping.....it seems to happen when i use the catachan imperial guard dlc pack that ive recoloured but onyl some players seem to be affected....i dont drop and other don't either but im pretty sure my own choice of dlc pack is affecting them.

me and windu have bashed our measly minds together to add more evidence it does have something to do with ANY player in a game using the Catachan Devils Regiment Dlc pack....i run on ultra setting as do many of the people who don't crash but those on lower settings are the ones booted during game start up. hope this helps

Yep. For now, no one should use the Catachan DLC.
