Hi as of late since i changed to a new Dongle ("well ive actually tried 3 different Dongles"), i have encountered frequent conflicts with other players. 1st original Dongle for this PC only had BETA software for Windows 8 so i had to replace this as time progressed the software became more unstable and no amount of re installs would help fix it! Thing was with this dongle i had decent speeds. Now after going though 3 different Dongles each varying in price and now landed with the highest quality one i could get that actually matches my Router manufactures i am still having issues. On the box it compares to the original Beta dongle, tho my speeds for downloading on steam have gone down by a good 300Kbps roughly 70% of the games of Dawn 2 Elite i play i have issues with a host and stuttering where my connection lags the host or other players. Basically its getting to the point where i am giving up i took a massive break from Elite due to this a while back and i really enjoy the game and players and i want to play but its a bit crap when every other game i play lags out or i am booted for lagging!
My ping is always good and my connection seems stable but at times on my Phone or Ipad i notice that it pops up the interenet connection is unstable and it goes down for no reason for some time! I brought a new router last year to replace the old one and we actually have 3 different routers in the house after trying each one the problem remains or seems too.
My question is can i fix this or am i doomed! My PS4 seemed relatively stable when i use to play BF4 on it and it feels like its only an issue with my PC and 2 other devices! We do have a lot of devices sharing our connection mind! What i do not understand is the drop in download speed on Steam and why if my Ping is high and the communication between me and other players is stable why am i stuttering? Is this ISP related, software related or Hardware!
Honestly the problem is so bad its largely put me off PC gaming! Worse i do not own the line i am using so i can not contact the ISP ("BT"), saying that the owner has contacted them multiple times and they say the line is fine! Our exchange is ancient in this village and BT keep saying they will upgrade it but never do! My max connection speed all working is only 5Mpbs anyhow even working at full whack.
Ive tried disabling my firewall and other things but it makes no difference and its getting really tiring! Maybe i should try some other multiplayer games for a day and see if they lag on the on my PC!
i ask for help here because its one of the only games i do play on my computer and honestly its the one i want to keep playing but i can not keep playing like this! I want to get better and learn to use the keyboard more and play 1v1s but i cant get into that aspect of the game when most the time my opponent or myself will be lagging. hoping for a reply thanks!

Re: Stuttering During Game
are you leeching off someone else or could you run a cable to it?
there are a lot of possible issues and frequency pollution is one of them, especially if lots of other people are using wireless connections.
another possibility is that you have some program on your computer (possibly malware) that is hogging your connection or connecting to a lot of peers. unless you have a very high bandwidth connection dozen of connections, even if none of them are large, will cause a lot of lag. torrent programs have this problem.
if you haven't cleaned your computer or done a fresh install of the operating system in at least the past 2 years i'd do some cleaning and see if that helps. you can also monitor your network usage and see if anything odd is showing up.
