I don't know if this is really the right thing to post, and even though Jenni is drunk I cannot help but feel that what he says strikes a chord with me.

Sorry to kill the mood and everything, but even through Jenni's drunken rage there is a grain of truth to be had. I know how he feels, the same thing can be applied to me, though of course replace the word Toilailee, Wigglytuff and IG t2 vehicle with names/words that that apply to my situation.

Less so for me, I would rather others are just straight up about something with me so it can be dealt with practically, but for some/most ignorance can be bliss, because if they never knew something happened, then they are able to think it over, worry or despair about it. I would provide a good example, but I find it incredibly difficult to think of something suitable.

Perhaps think of a time when something is lost, and cannot find it. In reality what was lost was just misplaced one day, though let's say, it was destroyed, yet the one looking doesn't know. If it was something treasured by them, they would prefer to think it as out of sight, out of reach, rather than something they get sentimental over being destroyed never to be seen again. At least if they don't know it is destroyed then they can entertain the thought of it coming back to them in the future.

If you see what I mean. I don't find myself being sentimental, but some people would rather live in blissful ignorance than painful truth. Not a great example, but I never expected to enter a discussion over what is good in ignorance.

Ignorance is bliss for everyone. If you didn't know it happened and how it affected you then you are not bothered by it, I don't think you can argue it.

OFC you can argue that you would've liked to know so you could control a situation which had an effect on your life, but that doesn't change the fact that being unaware is bliss.
