Find a Game Is Grayed Out

So, I've been meaning to get around to asking about this for a while, but essentially when I start up Elite, the 'Find a Game' option on the multiplayer menu is grayed out and can't be selected. Since I'd really like to start playing humans instead of the AI, I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem and knows how to fix it?

It's because the automated matchmaking system isn't accessible through Elite. To play other people, you have to find or create games through public Custom Games.
