Sarcasm is pointless. Burning red for unit drop is OK when your globals are lacklustre and nuke is totally useless.

I support increasing cost of units on the basis that this faction's globals are bad.
Supposedly at least.

Especially considering that this faction's T3 is limited by red quite significantly on 2/3 of its commanders and the third one actually has universally useful global, but still has to consider his T3 build when using it.

I can see people willing to spend red instead of copious amount of req/power, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to make this way of purchase non-optional.

well strictly speaking the repair global repairs less than one squad per second , and it is generally rare to have a bunch of tanks until late in the game if even then. Not saying it is bad just that the situation in which it is most efficient manifests later in the game.

FTE is a mixed bag , It has its obvious uses .

The larger question though is are they worth delaying a terminator squad. I think that is more a question of personal preference since predators are pretty darn good and it is painfully easy to trap and kill terminators with the various root skills in the game.

FTE is by far the best SM global, cheap, comes in play instantly and can change from the course of an engagment to the course of the game, the TM repair is also very strong, not only in team games, but aslong as you use it it's impossble to lose a dred even against alot of HP it also repairs with a % meaning it will only get stronger throught the game and when vehicles level up, it also completely unbalances dred vs dreds plays.
