Shuma just keeps on giving - latest models for the Nids first "elite scheme"

EDIT - Also hopefully these can be used as visuals that are applied when Termas and Hormas upgrade to Adrenal Glands or Toxin Sacs...

I saw some models of hormagaunt with a very evident horn.

That could be the base for some DLC.

The horn, the crests on the back, some thorns on the legs, longer scythes, a extra little talon on top of the scythes themself and a longer, more predatorian tail.

Spikey Nids! More spikey than they are already!

On the topic of Salamanders (I am not a Salamanders fan, so this isn't a "Do it these are my favourite thing" type of request, in fact, think not of it as a request, a mere suggestion). Since Forge World have recently released Firedrake Terminators, would it be possible to make Terminators look like this:

The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

Not a fan of salamanders, but they seem to have scales of some sort on their armor whether it be a lone cloth or just on the armor itself.

Here's a suggestion for the tac squad:

I like the helm and the cloth mix; it makes them look more sinister and just wicked in general.

The dragon teeth necklace seems to be almost on all of the images I look for, so maybe incorporating those somewhere on each of the units (Tacs, ASM's, ect) would be cool.

Here's some images I found of the table top dreadnaught:

It'd be cool to see some of the elements from those models incorporated in the Elite dreds.

That's Bray'Arth Ashmantle (Imperial Armour Volume IX: The Badab War Part 1). Perhaps he could be the inspiration for the Venerable?

Also that Power Armoured marine, that is a special Horus Heresy Era Veteran, just so you know, and I know the Termies I put up are 8-) , but I don't think they would be good for Tacs, too elite.

Yeah think I'm going to use quite a variety for Salamanders' - Pyroclasts, Firedrakes, Badab War Veterans etc.

So currently the three being worked on are...

1. Harlequins
2. Hive Fleet Dagon - thanks to Shumas new models
3. Salamanders

Expect I'll be posting the progress in my thread soon.

I know Emperors Children have come out on top but Slaanesh fans are goin to have to wait a bit longer to see them in Elite - although I promise you wont be disappointed when they arrive. ;)

Not the Exodites? I was really hoping for a nice Ranger feel so i could recolour it to Alaitoc :P

Well they were tied and already had something in the works for Harlequins for a while.

Exodites will get some attention in due course.

Voting for emperor's children since slaanesh does not get much love currently. So BRING THE PINK DOWN can't wait to see it if it gets chosen considering the other schemes that have been done.

I main eldar and I really like them but their background makes them look very homogeneous so I'm ok with the lack of "DLCs" for them. I'd really like to see the Emperor's Children tho, make it four for chaos :) .

As a Chaos player and a Emperor's Children lover i still think that we got some interesting skins already.
I voted Emperor's Children of course, but now I think Eldar deserve the Exodites skins.

It would be nice for them to have some actual choices, and Exodites are cool.
With the Harlequins and Exodites together, they'll have some real variety.

Chaos can wait.
