Your Tabletop Army/Armies

A curious endeavour by myself here is to discover what your favourite tabletop army is. A matter of interest is all.

You can tell me:

• 1) Your three favourite armies
• 2) That armies unit that you most like
• 3) Why you like the army/armies

For me:

• 1) Third: Eldar, Second: Tau and Chaos, First: Dark Eldar
• 2) Scourges, though Incubi a close second
• 3) Because they are heartless cruel bastards, moving swiftly from the webway to capture slaves, keeping up the old Eldar traditions of orgies, violence and sex whilst maintaining the coolest aesthetic

Where do you live though?
My friends who play TT managed to find people to play with the moment they started looking.
As for stores, who needs them when you have Internet these days.

OT: I don't have an army, probably "yet". While I kinda-sorta participate in TT parties here, I can't imagine having enough time and desire to work with minis, that's before we consider monetary issues, but everything is a subject to change.

1) Chaos Space Marines, Astra Militarum, Sisters of Battle.
2) Noise Marine
3) I always liked the "human races" in every game ever. That's a start.
I like Chaos Space Marines because i like infantry based armies, and i like the opportunity to use a lot of different infantry from cheap and numerous Cultists to powerful and expensive Obliterators.
All races need vehicles for being competitive, but Chaos Space Marines is one of the few that still feels good if you don't have any.
And Maulerfiends don't look like vehicles, so that i like.

Astra Militarum and Sisters of Battle have good looking Infantry too, and I like them.
