Manticore
Manticore
Please help me with manticore aiming. First missile hit an enemy squad and have a knockback. How must I aim with other three for great damage?

Re: Manticore
You spread them around the first missile strike.
A cursor-sized space followed by a triangular shape around the first missile strike would be best since either there will usually be a group of knockbacked unit forming somewhat of a circle around the epicentre of the first strike.

Re: Manticore
Spread them out. Either aim other squads with other missiles or aim the other missiles where you predict the squad members get thrown.

Re: Manticore
The knockback is always directional based on where the missle hits. If it hits behind the squad it will knock them forward. Other than there's no specific optimal pattern.
Lets make Ordo Malleus great again!

No, the suicide button will be greyed out since there will be no one to 'inspire'.
Also, their called Guardsmen and it's 'execute' ^^

Re: Manticore
It might an obvious but it's worth noting that with the manticore, you'll want to get slick with hotkeys and shortcuts. Learn to target smart but also quick. You don't want to miss an opportunity when the enemy is all bunched up.
I think it's also reasonable to bring your manticore pretty close to the fight for firing. The shots will land a lot quicker. Then pull it back into safety after its fired. In this way, it's last known map location will be different. Even if you think it's safe, if you leave it on one place after firing, they could send something to kill it, like bustas in a trukk got example.
