I figure that may be the case. Either way, incentives to consider the AC for Marked CSM is the main take away I wanted to put forth. Even after Slaughter has been properly balanced, I still think there's room for giving the KCSM a little something extra in T3 in order to make the mark more interesting. People didn't build KCSM before Slaughter was introduced, and they still won't be building them after its fixed.

Some sort of 125/30 T3 purchase may be worth considering. Whether it'd be defensive or offensive, passive or active, I cannot say.

Oh they did, but in 1v1s not team games. They're similar to ogryns in that respect and ogryns have had a great slew of buffs and certainly don't need anymore now, they're just perfect. I do think KCSM are still a little pricey for such a one-dimensional unit - all it does is A-move. A reduction on the mark to 25 power would be nice tbh but I wouldn't like much more. KCSM wreck face in 1v1 and they tear IG apart terribly well.

More than decrease the cost, I would give to MoK something more. Maybe some healing effect when they kill a model?

Or a complete rework, maybe :P

Still, they receive some buffs in 2.3.1. We will see if their performance is better now in 1vs1.

There will be no forgiveness for us.

KCSM are in a really good spot now. i use them a lot more often in all gamemodes now, they're just awesome.

due to their speed they're perfect for flanking, or charing down someones line in a 3v3 with 8 marines with chain axes, and a CL with LCs, all being worshiped in to their lines. most players freak out and retreat, especially if melignant blindness was used to get them there.

i cant speak for PC/sorc use. but i'd expect good mucus discharge/sigil use will make them equally as effective.

but this has derailed. im not even sure why we're talking about KCSM when we're supposed to be talking about slaughter. you dont alter something to make something else less desirable.

Yeh, KCSM are well designed. I get what you mean by in a good spot, which is that they do what they are designed for well, but atm they are literally placed in a bad position BECAUSE of slaughter's effectiveness.
