Hey Everyone, Long Time no see. I hope everyone is doing well and I'm sure those who I regularily play with haev probably notieced that I haven't been on lately. That's been the case off and on for quite some time now.Each time...it was due to the reason of me soul searching for that of my purpose for living. Each time, I stopped playing I etched closer to that purpose...and now I have found it. So many people ask... what the purpose of life is...there are 2 reasons that I have come up with that you may concur.

"The meaning of life is to have purpose...and the purpose of life is that which you make it"

and 2

"the meaning of life is to endure and to continue to exist"

Each gives rise to that of 2 major concepts.

Spirituality
and
Logic

from there we have
Spiritualist
and
Materialist

at the end of the day...we are all driven to do something whether that is... for the understanding and that of the fulfillment that comes in the journey or...that of to reach the end result. Naturally, this has come to create a mannerism of conflict. However...that is furthest from the truth than that of what anyone can realize.

Both...Materialist...and spiritualist are existent due to the simple notion that is balance. Those who look for fulfillment along the journey naturally come to conceptually understand that of what they are doing on a deeper level of connecting ideas guided by spiritual emotion and backed by Logic. Those who look to the end result come to structurally understand how the niddy griddy details and that of how to get that which those conceptualize to become manifest. Scientist, and Constructionist. Civil Rights Leaders/Policy Makers to Platform Construcionist/Workers.

My Grandmother's 80th Birthday was just yesterday...and we were commemorating a woman who... has been a nurse for 50 years...and still working...she loves what she does. She's compelled to do what she does...and she naturally draws others to her and inspires them to become greater which like a reaction causes inspiration in others to do better...

My Uncle stated two statements that will live with me forever...

the first was

"You retire when you know your purpose to be fulfilled not when you reach a certain age"

and

2nd..

"May you live for as long as you want...and never want as long as you live"

My Grandmother lives in a small apartment...yet...she still one of the most happiest and driven people I have known in my life.

She lives fulfilling desires on the side...while fulfilling obligation to develop society...and still fulfill her natural purpose that which is to help others at the same time.

People say the world doesn't change...reality is harsh...Reality is harsh because...we unbalance ourselves. Because we don't do that of what we want to do while simultaneously fulfilling our obligation to communally develop society for the better.

How do I know this?
Because when we do balance ourselves... we get democracy...we get...Civil Rights and the notion that people are judged on that of their character and not that of where they come from of where they look like. We get Hope...and the faith to believe in ourselves to do that which seems improbable...and

were better for it.

I played this game for the purposes of fulfilling myself on the notion of not to be the best "Which absolutely Alright"...but the notion to be the best I could be and provide a means of entertainment for others while simultaneously pursuing relationships with that of the people I was playing with. I knew I was never going to be the best. Everyone knows when they are.. and aren't capable of doing something. It's a 7th Sense...beyond the 6th which is where you have the feeling or presence that someone is around you or watching you.

At the end of the day, I have fulfilled what I came here to do. I wanted to try and create some means of balance so as to be able to play GK. And to an extent... I did and didn't...but...that's because the task of improvement is hardly ever finished. I can also move on because I know that...the task of as to where they are going is in good hands. Forestradio and I may have had our differences in opinion...but he or she (not being sexist or rude, I'm just trying to stay positively aware) is a very knowledgeable person. I'm not saying "just listen" to anyone..but I am definitely stating that which is stated by Forestradio surely shouldn't be taken for granted. There's still a bit of supremist presence in the forums... but it does seem to have died down to an extent...but that's in the positive direction none the less.

To those I really came to know...Vapor, Phoenix, Noisy, Haidran...and the many other Friends and acquaintances...I'm glad of every moment I spent with you.

Right now I'm in college and I'm studying Geology...Geology? that study of the planet subject? yea... But I'm looking to pursue and fulfill myself with that in relations to developing society while still fulfilling myself off on the side in relations to running track. Naturally that just means I won't have time for this... but it's ok...because I'm happy to move on. I'm done with video games... Not because they are bad or keep you from doing anything productive...but because...I have my direction. I'm not going to be a pro player entertain people and get money so as to donate to charities...I'm just not that good...nor is that really my sense of passion...I'm more of a hands on... direct type of person. I am the spiritualist in society... the one who conceptually builds the ideas so that someone may construct them and bring it structure. That's what I aim to do.

It must be said, I have never met you Anomaly, be it here on on the fields of battle in the 41st millenium, but I enjoyed reading that, most people leave with a "Game is shit, I want to play CoD." but I think you wrote something, that if true, is a much more satisfying read than the aforementioned.

And no I didn't just get to the end of the first paragraph and then think "TL:DR."

Sorry if I come across as I might not have read through your text, but from what I gathered from this piece of text;

People are criticizing your play? I've had some friends of mine who quit the game, who came back to ELITE to test it out, then only to quit due to the community, and their negative backlashes. I'm sick and tired of all the mega tryhards who are just blatanly rude, because it's NOT HEALTHY for the community or the game.

Or you know, I might just be wrong on this.

I haven't personally had the issue with super elitism, but I do agree that it's something we should discourage.

Meh, in my own opinion, people in Elite are much more kind to each other than for example LoL community. It is understandable that someone can get flustrated about some TRYHARDS here but... nothing to compare to other online games. Maybe becasue it is more hermetic community but I kinda lika it.

What do you mean by that? Just a smaller, more tightly knit one, with a shared interest in some extra-curricula activity usually - i.e. warhammer 40k lore?

Maybe not so deep in it but I meant that few people have DoW 2, fewer plays Elite. Becasue of that community is smaller and more hermetic - its not so wide and well known as LoL, DotA 2 etc communites. And yeah, wh40k lore is also important factor
