I'm just fooling around doing very basic modding with Cope's Tools to spice up comp-stomping, but I'm interested in how to make unit weapons swapable (or re-purchasable) like commanders or the Autarch?
I know this gets very hard with units like CSM having animations to mess with, but I would like to be able to make units like TAC's be able to go back and swap between launchers, flamers, and plasma guns, or Kasrkins between their weapons.
I'm not sure what files or settings to change though.

Actually, this is a very important mechanic of the game. It tests your jugment about situations. Maybe a cool idea about Karskins. But that will make TACs less valuble.

You can check the commander wargear upgrades for the format, and copy it from there. Go to upgrade>pvp>race_...>wargear, pick one and look at the time_cost_reequip dropdown in the .rbf file. The cost in there will be the amount you pay to re-equip the wargear.
