Mekboy Electric Armour

What is going on with this thing? Not sure why people haven't complained about it sooner tbh, not even sure why I haven't but it's absolute garbage-tier in elite. This thing was legitimately useful in retail, maybe even OP but the huge nerf of it now slowing the mekboy when it is used makes it so that it is terrible on retreat... But that's all it was used for outside of counter-initiation.

Why on Earth is it so damn expensive when it is so bad and only useful for counter-initiation (Something that the battery pack does better anyway, while the battery pack is 10 power cheaper and gives you more energy for teleporting and more jumps on SB)??? Is it expensive due to the 200hp increase? I'de honestly nerf that then as it's not really what it is used for anyway; you're not going to charge your mek into a blob and zappp away at them all as he would just die, instead that's when you get battery pack and tele your mek behind your storms to heal them while your other boys waagggh inwards.

120req/30power! Terrible wargear. Has to be one of the worst in the game atm. I can't think of any scenario other than deffgun/electric armour vs nids in which I would get it.

Yeah. It could use some buffing (not that Mek is a weak hero in the current meta).

It's pretty damn annoying against IG. If you gonna buff it, just dont make it an ultimate weapon against this faction

How? The mek dies in seconds to all that piercing damage that IG have. I mean sure if there's a squad with about 20% hp and lots of models on its own he can wipe them but that's not worth 30 power, it should be able to wipe them with about 40%hp.

agreed. its awesome, but its damage to energy consumption ratio is absolutely horrendous.

while we're at it, the mega rumbla could be looked at aswell because its not great for the 50 power cost.
the battery pack might aswell be the only armor option for the mek right now.

Wipe squads easier.

It's just terrible.

Decrease the health buff, remove the slow while it is being used...

Or, like ven said, make it cost less energy for its duration.

Retail it was op but now isn't really worth the cost just worried about guardsmen in tier 1 etc. Considering the mek relies so much on his war-gear think a cost change or a look at the area of damage it does is a good start.
