Vehicle mobility.

Postby bibotot » Fri 20 Mar, 2015 10:51 pm

The game reverse driving system is like being operated on while retaining consciousness: unnecessarily painful and just because it works (sort of) does not mean players should tolerate that. Why can't we put something like in Company of Heroes 2? Why can't this be fixed?

Also, the turret's rotation rate on tanks is so slow. A lot of the time, the aiming is off because the tank is moving and the turret cannot keep up.

Overall, can these issues be addressed? Why in the future, tanks are even worse than WW2?

It's Relic to blame for this, but I would love to see a reverse function added if at all possible.
The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

Emm.. turret mobility works as it intended. It shouldnt be as fast as the tank speed. The same thing we can see in CoH2, specially for tanks like is-2 or KT, who got really slow turret rotation speed. About other mobility stats - coh2 got acceleration speed, deceleration speed and rotation speed. In DoW2 we can see only movement speed witch is pretty same to rotation speed, without acc or dec speed, so sometimes vehicles move extremely stupid

DoW does have acceleration speed for vehicles. Not for turret rotation though iirc.
