If you're an assault marine in my army prepare to be jumped into combat in some distant part of the map and quickly forgotten about to slowly die a painful and needless death.
"Jump away!" the guardsmen cry, "We can't!" the assault marines reply somberly, "Some asshole is in control."
Or sometimes, a lot of the times actually, I jump them behind enemy lines totally unsupported with my only reasoning behind not supporting them is : "They can handle it." Of course I know this not to be true, but at the time I am hoping, that just maybe, this time will be different and they will wreck house! The only thing I've learned from these many occasions of losing my ASMs is that I don't need them to win the game and to not expect them to last long. Sorry ASMs, this drink is to you!
Also dreadnoughts. I don't always buy a dreadnought in tier two but when I do. . . I over extend it.
"Play recklessly my friends."

I then usually excuse myself of any blame by saying "Well I didn't know they had a brightlance back there!" or similarly "Well I didn't know they had autocannons and plague marines back there!" or even "Well I didn't know the FC was going to buy the powerfist!"
So what unit has the lowest life expectancy in your army?
