Why does the Falcons pulselaser not follow my targetorders?

My falcon fights against an enemy falcon. Both of them stand still, I right click the enemy Falcon. Every weapon except the AV Pulselaser fires on the enemy facon. The Pulselaser decides to fire on the Guardiansquad..... why?

He shortly shoots at the enemy Falcon, then switches only with the Pulselaser to the guardians. I can't get him to shoot the Falcon by rightclicking him. So I pull the Falcon back so that maybe only the enemy falcon is in rangebut at that point its over anyway.

The weapons have 3 different ranges, perhaps this is the cause?

scatter laser - 45
pulse laser - 44
dual shuriken catapults fire prism - 38

Thats not it, the enemy falcon could hit me all the time.

Just swooping by to say you probably just pin-pointed the reason the falcon doesn't damage transports with troops in. Because the pulse laser targets the troops inside the vehicle which are invulnerable instead of the vehicle.
