This doesn't need to be long winded.

I really like this ability, but I have seen others pitch similar arguments in different threads that this ability is in need of adjustment.

Basically, the argument is that the ability is about 2-3 seconds too short for cost, OR, the wargear is too expensive for the benefits given. Also, I can find no reason that the warlock should not be able to cast enhance on himself other than him slaying heretics outright (something both SM and GK librarians can do in T2 as well).

Thoughts?

Pretty much agree. I suppose it would be outrageous to have it affect all units of the Eldar roster. However, it would be nice to have this ''all for someone else'' ability to simply screw the earlier ''selfish build'' he had going on for himself. A nice little contradiction.

Is it too easy to focus fire Enhanced squads, or is the Warlock not good enough at making sure that his army Enhances themselves?

I haven't really tried this one out myself so not sure of it's channeled or just a cast but I reckon it's going to be a wrecking ball when people know how to use it properly. Given that the retreat damage modifiers were removed and they get full damage combining it with fleet or swift movement sounds like nothing could ever get away from banshee's.

FoF still decrease melee damage by 40% phate. And banshees are worse at retreat killing now.

I also feel the WL should be able to enhance himself, though I still don't like much the ability. The fact is WL has 2 starting abilities that cost 40 energy each, no melee charge so you have to use FoF (even if you know dps drop because of it), and yet we give him another ability that does empty his energy pool faster again. The Jedi build is thus weakened, which makes WL no longer an offensive commander, at least melee-wise. Combined with no useful T3 wargear, he is now inferior to FS in every way, even if Swift Movement is still good (but FS has good globals too).

Anyway, enhance should have increase duration, perhaps cost 5 power less, or: be an AoE, so every squad within are enhanced, including or not the WL. It could be in a radius around the WL, or anywhere (which would be awesome in teamgames).

I'll give you that. Granted that it does 40% less but it also increases damage by 25% if I read the notes correctly and the retreat reduction modifiers have been removed so it's really not a bad change at all in my book.

The 5 less power reduction I would also agree on since it no longer gives you that huge refresh of your energy or HP but banshee's aren't the only thing that it can be used on so I'm actually very curious to see what is going to happen especially if Firedragons are going to be used a bit more.
