interchangeable upgrades

If I understand correctly, TAC marines upgrades can be repurchased for greater flexibility. Are there other units that should benefit from similar flexibility? Is it possible for our great modders to produce such features?

I'm sure it was always intended that only tacs and commanders can do this to bring a niche element to tacs which are known for being able to adapt to different situations.

Would be kinda stupid if chaos could buy 2 squads of tzeentch and you build your army to counter this then next engagement they turn into khorne csm and wreck your ASM.

Although I would like the idea of allowing setup teams to switch back and fourth for a cost obviously, nothing more annoying than having a lascannon dev costing you upkeep when you kill your opponents walker and its essentially useless after that,

yep, this was my first thought, too. usually you just use your laser setup team for capping after the walker/vehicle is dead for some time and don't have a chance to use it before t3 again. otherwise it would be too good if setup teams good change from supression to auto cannon to lascannon and back like they want. i think people could start spamming them and just go for 3 autocannons vs inf, a sec later 3 lasOrs vs a walker and than 3 auto cannons again

Yeah I guess that's the same concept actually

Slaughter already does this too well :]
