Alright now, i'm not a expert at all on the subject of damage per second or what exactly to use in each engagement, but after about 3 hours of very lengthy (and fun) testing me and my friend found a few small tricks to use against the tricky eldar
First off, Countering banshees:
Catchan Devils upgraded with the improvised explosive can deal a devastating blow to a squad of banshees without engaging, just simply set p your IED in a location where you think (or know) the banshees will be coming from and BOOM a T1 upgrade squad of banshees will be taken down to two to three models, a squad of Guardsmen can easily clean them right up.
Shield cover:
Catchan devils again, a single grenade barrage dropped directly behind the shield (even if you are infront of it) will knock the enemy squad away from it and have it be at abot 50-100 hp. Alternatively, the spotter's mortar does this just as well.
A baneblade's demolisher cannon can shoot through the shield, hitting the enemy and destroying it, not that you'll ever need to do this, but hey, helps to know.
falcons:
option one: A single stormtrooper squad with the meltagun upgrade can do imense damage to this craft with a melta bomb, slowing it down enough for your orgryns or catchans (Seriously, these bastards do it all) to close the distance and punch it to death, or if you have the lord commisar, simply drop your minefield where it may retreat.
option two: Place a IED from your catchans, wait for the serpant, detonate and have your upgraded ST throw a meltabomb on it then fire a few barrages, it'll drop before it can retreat
option three: Dual sentinals with krack rockets. Yes, this kills those pesky transports faster than either of the other options.
Wraithlords: See wave serpent options.
Avatar:
Ok, now look, this sounds crazy but throw a baneblade at it
"BUT IT CAN JUST KILL THE BB WITH IT'S ABILITIES"
well yes but
"AND IT CAN'T USE ALL IT'S GUNS WHEN IT CLOSES THE DISTANCE"
Kite the bastard, the baneblade moves faster than the avatar, have a squad of Guardsmen close to help repair it mid-fight
ok option two:
Honestly a manticore or some other long ranged firepower is the only safe way to bring this thing down, but if you have plenty of guardsmen, stormtroopers, sentinals, etc etc you may be able to bring it down before your killed.... mabye you should just rush T3.
Wraithguard:
Ogryns. Throw the boneheaded meatshields at these bastards and watch them run
Seer council:
No idea, catchan bomb seems to work coupled with the gernades and shotgun blasts, but these bastards are tough to bring down.
If you have any more suggestions for a IG player fighting eldar please respond! This thread is open for discussion

Sorry for being off the subject, but please correct the names, ffs ~_~
Wave Serpent -> Falcon (different vehicles. There are no Wave Serpents in DoW. Yet.))
Wraithknights -> Wraithguard.
Its not a big deal, but some ppl might have hard times trying to figure out what DoW2 units you`ve mentioned.
P.S. It would be nice to see some Wraithknights and other titan-class units in the next update

This is incorrect. The Avatar has a speed of 5.5 and the Baneblade has a speed of 3.5
The Baneblade does have the range advantage and it does force-movement from the Avatar however, which can lure it into a line of plasma_pvp damage sources and etc.

when we tested it we noticed that whenever the avatar went to swing the windup would allow the BaneBlade to back up and effectively "dodge" the attack.

You cannot dodge attacks unless they are special attacks. The Avatar swing is tracking.

No one uses Eldar... Eldar uses you.

Re: How to deal with Eldar as IG
imo lascannon hwt's work great vs the avatar. use execution(commissar) or fire on my target (lord general) on it.
option 1: if you can focus fire the avatar to pieces
option 2: if there's an army around it hope for the snare to hold the avatar back long enough to deal with the eldar army
