soundbug... how i hate you

okay... so another fun game ruined by the good old soundbug.. i been ni elite so long i cant even remember if it was a problem in retail.. but it sure is in elite.. it just happens way 2 often.. playing without sound is not a big deal but the game crashes ( thx relic ). every single time
iam sure this is not the first thread about it but is there anything that can be done about it cause it really is the worst bug i have ever had in a multiplayer game. if it was siingleplayer it would be much less a pain in the ass.

it seems some players never experience it?... luck or?

Well, i never experienced dat. But it's not make me feel much better, as many players have this bug, and when some1 from your or enemy team crashed - the game is ruined.

Google and or look through the forums. Many threads on this topic already. It has something to do with your machine I would guess.
I can't even remember the last time I had the bug and I only had it a couple of times in the past.
