Swiftsabre, you keep on misunderstanding me. I said nothing to BbBos regarding his status. I was not comfortable with the definition that Atlas had used here (and with how everyone turned on me like I wasn't right about the negative meaning of this definition). To me it bears a negative sense. If he meant nothing like this then he could clarify that, the problem would be gone. But if you actually start searching for definitions you will find more sites that give that definition a bad sense than sites that give that a good one. You can say that when you are called a fool it doesn't always mean a bad thing. But this is a definition that commonly means something unpleasant to a person it is directed to. And it is no wonder that people get offended if they are called so. Does anyone follow now?!

And to add to that talk about how everyone perceives different definitions differently. The internet is such a place where everything is distorted. Do you see how often someone abuse the word "gay"? It has a clear definition. But then everything is called "gay" now. "Wow, that thing is gay" - doesn't really mean that that thing is of unconventional sexual orientation, just means that it is a bad thing. So does that mean people are right when they use this expression? Initially the term "necroposting" describes the behaviour of any user who ruins the etiquette of a normal forum by posting in an old thread a meaningless message, which is indeed a bad thing to do and a person who does this won't be liked. Does anyone follow?

I understand your point, Cyris. He probably meant nothing offensive. But I didn't like the way he used that definition because it is reserved for different situations and wasn't really just to use in my case. Talking about a different understanding of the term (I would even say the wrong understanding of the term).

To everyone who thinks why I become so persistent sometimes. It happens whenever I feel that it is most likely that I am correct and my opponent is not. And when I can prove it with facts or at least thoroughly explain my position. Go, look up the definition, you will see more cases when it is described negatively. Which proves that I am probably correct than incorrect here. And the usage of that term by him was rather wrong than right.

To be brutally honest Sub Zero, no one actually cares if Atlas was using the term necro with any detrimental intent, and fewer people care that you took offense to it let alone try to prove yourself as correct, so for the goodness of everyone and yourself, let's get this thread back on track and stop dilly dallying over a misconstrued term.

I don't care if I come across as a forum warrior or other people look down on me for being harsh, I'm beyond hopeless pleasantries. I just want to stamp on this fire before it burns anything else up, and if your feelings get caught up in that stamping, then we can take it to PM.
The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

You forgot the picture. With that phat phuck from the infamous cartoon for very "educated" people ;-)

If we maintain "I don't give a fuck" system we won't go anywhere. If someone is not right we must correct him. Or there will be someone else in the future who calls a worthy post necroposting and by doing so he strenghtens the wrong usage of the term.

Indifference is one of the worst things. One infamous country even had a saying on their coins - mind your business. A way to go indeed... But now at least they trust in god :)

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But actually I would be glad if all posts were cleared and we got back on track. I just didn't think that anyone but him would respond to my off-topic post and as a result would cause further off-topic responses from me. The best prevention ever would be to send him a personal message and set things there.

Since my intent has come into question: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.p ... =necropost

I meant nothing by it, but I don't see how the comment was inappropriate considering it fit the definition.

I've also changed my mind on the hero; I'd rather the Brother Captain have Feeder Tendrils :D

To hell with y'all and your cheese armies. Here is a real army.

Genestealer Cult

Commanders:

Patriarch - Big, fat genestealer. Slow and tanky melee commander.

Magus - Support style hero.

Hierarch - Mix of the other two. Can be a fast but softer melee fighter or branch into ranged combat.

Tier 1

Brood Initiates - Starter unit. Start off similar to chaos cultists but can be upgraded to have either an Acolyte or Neophyte leader. Neophytes improve squad CC ability and Acolytes change the unit to be ranged support with autoguns/lasguns and maybe special weapons at T2.

Brood Brothers - Basically a genestealer-infested GM equivalent. Acolyte leader improves the squads combat performance at range.

Brood Brother Weapons Team - Similar to IG HWT.

Captured Sentinel.

Tier 2

Captured Chimera - Chimera without mobile base.

Genestealer Hybrid Squad - Fairly general infantry squad that starts out similar to stormtroopers (with infiltrate). Neophyte upgrade gives them meltas and a strong power melee attack, while Acolyte gives them hot-shot lasguns with good ranged DPS.

Hybrid Bikers - Guys on bikes who act as a fast harassing unit. Neophyte upgrade makes them a soft counter to vehicles (this unit would be used in a similar fashion to khornate berserkers)

Tier 3

Purebred Genestealers

Captured Leman Russ

Super unit - No super units, those things are stupid and take away from the game.

Lord Commissar with Rune Armour (BroCap levels of tank in T1, plus added regen, plus kickass ability)

T1;
Guardsmen (Starting unit)
Khorne Heretics (These guys will actually scale decently with Commissar support).
Havoks
Assault Marines
Catachan Devils (Pretty nasty synergy with Khorne worship)

T2;
Purifiers
Weirdboy (Warpath Catachans and Purifiers; bonus AoE stun)
Falcon (GM + Falcon synergy, aww yeah)
Dreadnought
Warp Spiders

T3;
Predator
Great Unclean One
Paladins

Globals;
Imperial Guard Bunker
Swift Movement
Distort Field
Touch of Nurgle (because something something linebreaking with Over 'Dere! on ToN Heretics)
Eldritch Storm

TL;DR
Unstoppable freight train of expendable fodder troops, aggressive and/or disruptive specialist troops, and powerful support abilities, with a
couple of outliers to round everything out. Tons of powerful speed buffs. Retains really good vehicle support for the late game (Khorne
worship and Guardsman repair). Biggest weakness is the lack of powerful artillery, but the direct pushing power is off the charts throughout
the game.

There's an incredibly filthy ranged-heavy variant I thought up using the Farseer and Nurgle 'tics, but that's not remotely as fun.
