Help please!

So I've recently started playing Dawn of War 2 again, and decided to get into Elite Mod for the first time and I'm really enjoying it. The problem is every now and then my game would just freeze then go to a black screen and then crash.. Whenever I try to relaunch the game it would freeze on launch and crash, I can't even get to the main menu. The only way I can play again is by restarting my computer.. I saw a guide for NVIDIA crashes but it didn't help me.. I have a Titan X graphics card and don't know what to do anymore, can anyone help please?

Try using older drivers, it's annoying but NVIDIA performance and compatibility with this game seems to get worse with every driver release.

1. Does this occur when you launch the game without the mod? The mod itself is considered pretty (if not very) stable, but occasional issues are always going to crop up.

2. Do you have any global settings applied in the nVidia Control Panel? Or individual settings affecting DoW II? I recommend turning them off - the game runs best without interference from graphics card driver overrides (of either manufacturer).

I don't know how to use older drivers rather than the newer ones for NVIDIA..

It all depends what system u running. If its 7 or 10 make a shortcut pulpit go to properties and try to run i lower version try 98xp

I'm running Windows 7 at the moment, are you sure that would help me not crash?

I haven't really tried playing retail much since I'm focusing so much on Elite Mod, so it always occurs on Elite Mod.

The only individual settings that I have for DoW II is on 'Power management mode' I put 'Prefer maximum performance' on because a guide to prevent NVIDIA related crashes said it helped to do so, other than that I don't actively know of any..
