Many a folk has pestered me to run a beginner tournament and at first I said no, but then after asking around I decided to go ahead with it. Nothing bad can come it right...right??
From having a few conversations with the boys in the beginner club, these are the rules.

This tournament will be held on Saturday, November 14th, at (- 10am CT = 4pm BST = 11pm West Auzzy)
It was silly putting a tournament on Halloween evening, so I pushed it back a couple of weeks
Rules:
- 2 v 2 double elimination tournament. So the losers can keep on playing, learning, instead of sitting out and twiddling the thumbs.
- <500 hours effective DOW2 multiplayer experience @ time of registration. So we exclude all hours spent on the campaign and last stand.
- Teamspeak Server: ts.for.al
- All FA | Beginner club members are automatically accepted.
- Players can choose their partners
- Players can opt to play without a pre-chosen partner, if this is the case they can wait until tourny day and hope to find another lonely player. Beware that you run the risk of being unable to play.
- Each player submits 3 commanders at the start of the tournament. Each pairing can play with any combination of commanders selected
- BO3 games with the map chosen at random for the first game,then for the following games the losing pair chooses.
- Cut off date for all registrations is at midnight UK on the 13th of November. No registrations will be allowed on the tournament day.
- At (- 10:15am CT = 4:15pm BST = 11:15pm West Auzzy) time on Saturday the 14th any player who is not present in the Teamspeak will forfeit the entire tournament. This is the time that the tournament will start.
