Can't see games

Hi

So I downloaded version 2.4.2 directly from the site and when I go online I can't see any public games. Is the version I have old or is there something I am not doing right.

2.4.2 is the correct version.

When you install it, do you use the old Retribution shortcut? The installer should make a new one on your desktop. If you use the old one, it just opens retail Retribution.

Thanks for the quick reply, but yeah I do click the new shortcut and it shows dawn of war 2 elite, with the wraithlord as the menu character

So could it be that I didn't download the full patch and that it was still able to install but not fully. As my file is 1 meg short of what it says on the site.

Not sure. But yeah, try re-downloading and reinstalling it. And make sure the installation path is the same as your Retribution installation. Is it just on your C drive, or do you have a separate directory for your Steam games?

Hey so yeah tried re downloading it and still nothing happens. It is on my C drive.

I think I found the fix. I tried making the elite mod launch from steam when I clicked it in the client.

It was obviously giving some weird issues by doing it that way.

Now I can finally dominate all you newbs. Jokes

You probably have the -dev in your Steam launch properties. Remove it.
