Do other IG players make use of "Loyal to the End"?

Title says it all, I make frequent use of mines, bunkers, and flares because they are amazing zone control abilities... as for Loyal to the End, I just have never found an instance where I was willing to part with 125 red in exchange for something like that. I'd take a banewolf drop over this ability any day.

Curious to know under what circumstances other players use it.

Try using it on a blob of gm during an engagement a few times and see what happens.

I mostly use this when I have 2 or 3 gm squads with chimera or med bunker nearby and I spam execute with the LC carapace armor. It is ludicrous to watch just how much dps those gm put out when they start losing models. Damn... I need to play more lc again.

I used it on Gm that had only 5 models left after they forced off enemy with flamers. They burned it down better than 3 GM. Go figure.

Does it measure losses based on each time a model dies or based on how many models less than maximum the unit has?

ie - Will a 5/12 unit get 7x the bonus if those units were lost before the ability was cast? If a unit keeps losing models and replenishing them, does replenishing diminish the effect or can you constantly rack up more bonuses?

OK so I need to frame my response here:
I've not played much since May and what little I have played since then (about 20 hours) was spent split between Chaos and IG. With that in mind...

I've seen things you wouldnt believe. Lvl 1 Catachan Devils soloing a level 9 warboss. Massed plasma guardsmen killing deffdreads. Cookies on dowels. Plasmaguns+Lead by Example+executions+ loyal to the end means an insane amount of dps can be tossed down range in extended firefights from a single squad, to the point that it became a go to tactic in 3v3's for me. I used it alot and loved every second of it.

If you can get a med bunker down in a key area, this should be about the only global you are using.

Start with an immediate execute after using LTTE, preferably from bionic eye, so that your squad cant get shut down by suppression, and then just keep reinforcing models as your squad will start dishing out stupid damage. I MEAN STUPID DAMAGE.

They will already have 100% bonus from execute and the LTTE will bump this number up to 200% and beyond very quickly.

Know this... Razorbacks, wartrukks, chimeras, and rhinos stand no chance against an LC who is heading down this tech path.
