Postby HiveSpirit » Sun 13 Dec, 2015 10:29 am

Webhallen is a well established store in Sweden.

Yea its in Swedish, you can translate the language though in your web browser.

I think it is still a fake, because it is true that they have registered under the domain of the blog DOW III (which I expect), but of what we wrote preorder online is better to trust the least!

I'd wait until I see a very official relic announcement. Something doesn't seem right about this.

Online stores, even amazon, make this kind of mistakes all the time and even assuming DoW3 was already in production it sure won't come out next year, so it would be kinda pointless to make a pre order for a game potentially 400/500 days away if not more, that's not all, if you follow coh2 you'll know relic under sega has a super strict NDA for any upcoming product so they would never let out something like this if it was true.

By the way Relic are hiring an engine optimiser for "an unannounced project"

http://hire.jobvite.com/CompanyJobs/Car ... j=o1jY1fw3

Likely CoH 2 related since A_E has told me there are big things for that game coming soon but no reason that Relic won't be keeping them for somethign else.
The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

That link....after a couple of years they wake up and figure out they need someone with a clue of what the are doing to optimize their games? I mean, I'm happy that they are going to improve, but it's laughable nonetheless.

Well the funny thing is Relic said it wasn't possible for them to optimise the engine further and they could only release tiny optimisation patches along the way, and then they go and hire someone for it...

Reric plz. As long as the game is optimised though I'll be happy.

Engine optimiser for an unannounced project.

i.e. not an existing project.

i.e. probably not the same engine.

Is it that hard to read the stuff you're quoting? :P

When it's Relic, everything is convoluted. By unannounced they could mean Dow III as much as they could mean somethign for one of their back catalogue games Image

On another note, Coh 2 has hit eSport status (No this time it's no joke Relic may well have actually pulled it out the bag).

relay? since when
Lucky creatures. At long last you have found the tranquillity of death. I was like you, once, clinging to life and blind to the truth. When I uncovered the truth, I too shuddered and paled with fear. Deep in these catacombs, I was remade. My brethren slumbered for eons while the living grew like weeds and that we can't allow.
