Eldars also use their type of chainsword, its kinda wierd but thats how it is For example Strikings Scorpions

I suggested it before in its own thread, but whenever any unit levels up, an Imperial Aquilla appears over the unit as a decorator to announce it. I think it'd be neat to have the decorators changed depending on the race, so an eight-pointed star for Chaos, an Orky skull for Orks, etc.

That being said I wish the games focused more on non-codex chapters.

Hard to call Blood Ravens Codex Chapter as they were created by Relic for DoW series. Any example of none codex chapter? You mean Space Wolves, Black Templars, Blood Angels or Dark Angels?

I'm a MASSIVE Blood Angels fan as far as loyalists go, and I see your point, although they reference the Codex a bit so they are probably one of those chapters that are in the "We like parts of it but not all of it" camp.
