So I downloaded the installer, activated the installer, thus putting the Elite mod files in the Dawn of War II: Retribution file.
What then? Whenever I try launch the game through Steam, there's no changes that the Elite mod has, which I'm assuming you could tell by the absence of the Grey Knight faction. Am I launching it or doing something wrong?

Re: No Differences
The installer will create a new desktop shortcut for you to run. Running the game through the retail shortcut in Steam will run the retail game, not the mod.

I don't see a shortcut installed. Do I need to start with the earliest version and work my way up to the newest?
FALSE ALARM: My anti-virus software was blocking it from creating an icon. I needed to click "run this application with unlimited access" when I ran the installer to get it to create the icon.
