Hello! I am new! Just a few questions!

Hello, everyone!

I used to watch this game religiously back when I started college! Sadly, I was broke as hell, so I could never run it. lol
I recently re-discovered dow2 from a steam sale and I instantly bought it and am now in the process of learning it! (Joining dow2 tournaments #thedream)

There are a few questions I wanted to ask, seeing as there is such little content (at least compared to other bigger names.)
Oh yeah! I only really care for 1v1s!

Is there a place that consistently posts replays? I found some here and there, but no websites so far that posts replays on a daily basis. I know about gamereplays.org, but I was looking for replays in particular, and the ones there are too old and won't run on the version of Elite that I dled from the website!

Are there replay packs scattered around that I could maybe DL? I found one here (shoutout to Riku btw)

And lastly, is there a place where I can find overall guides and strategies for each race? I am maining Orks, but that is mainly because I watched a sh*tton of Tex vods back in the day and that's mainly what I saw him play and he'd go super in depth in the vods he made with Harlequin lol

Watch some of those for tutorials. Builds in those videos will more often than not be optimal, and the nuances of the game such as meleeing retreating units will also be present. Not sure about "replay packs", sorry.

Yeah, man! I know what you mean about the replays. Nowhere to be found.

Been nerding out pretty hardcore on Ingrid + Red-Rupee, though, so thanks for the tip!

I don't think there is a place that you are describing.
The best you can do is subscribe to YouTube & Twitch Channels. Although most games are 3v3's.

(might be forgetting peeps, feel free to post your own links or people you watch.)
Or you can go to the bottom of this page to find latest YouTube uploads from certain people.
If you want 1v1 replays you should look up the 1v1 tournament VoD's.

You can find some help in the strategy section of this forum or ask for some direct input yourself.

No replays avaivable for downloading after GR died unfortunately. This site can't handle too many files uploaded so people stopped uploading them here and pretty much no1 was downloading them anyway so...

People just watch casts and streams now unlike in the good old days when watching replays was still a thing.

Well, our new auto-ladder-stats thingy does keep all the replays so there’s a library for you, eh? However we’re just beta-launching it now, so it’s a bit vacant at the moment…

Pega (is that noisy? I feel like I heard that from somewhere) has at least uploaded a large number of replays from the Monthly Rumble Tournament 19.
