So I decided to make this for fun. Many of the abilities and units here borrow heavily from pre-existing units and abilities. I know there’s a a lot of flamers and meltas here, but that’s pretty much the point of the Sororitas, isn’t it? All input is welcome, enjoy!
The Adepta Sororitas wear heavy armor like the Space Marines, but have lower health and are focused heavily on heat-based close weaponry, namely the flamer and melta. In the game, they would act as a subfaction of the Imperial Guard, and would share their T3 Rocket Run global (red could be called Faith for the Sororitas) Like all factions except the Space Marines, weapon upgrades are mutually exclusive.

Theorycrafting - Adepta Sororitas Army Roster
I swear I'm not as bad as this game as it may seem.
Re: Theorycrafting - Adepta Sororitas Army Roster
It's just another Astartes like faction or even more like Chaos counter part with mix of Power Armour and light infantry. Would like to see sth different. And again, the same problem. This race would need to be build from scratch. Models, voices, etc.
And those Seraphims... in Soulstorm they were real pain in the ass. In DoW 2, due to different mechanics, they would be even more hard to counter. As I imagine, it would be jumping infantry with heavy armour which is able to shoot while moving (space marines with jumpacks and FoF)

First of all, I respect to your work on this post.
Secondly, I wish you asked it before you worked on it. You spended hours on it (lets say) and everyone says '' NO ''. BLAM ! Whole work is gone.
Why they would say no? I think we don't need any more power armor race. Also, Sororitas are shorter than regular marines. If you are thinking about making heavy cosmetics on normal SM skeletons, thats not gonna work out I am afraid.

It's cool, I just did it for fun because I was bored in class at my university. Once I had the idea in my head, I couldn't stop until I had put it all to paper. So I don't mind any negative criticism, I knew it would probably happen anyway. So no worries
In terms of models, I actually found this:
http://www.moddb.com/mods/dawn-of-warha ... e-preview1
and this:
http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread. ... first-post
So in theory, if we can get in touch with whoever made this stuff, we have some material to work this.
And yeah, we already have a lot of power armor races, so perhaps some revisions could be made to that for the sake of diversity/balance, kinda like how plague marines only have infantry armor despite wearing power armor (though then again, their armor is often heavily corroded). I was going for somewhere between the "power armor/tactical diversity" feel of the Space Marines and the "fast-moving/glass cannon" feel of the Eldar.
When it comes to making the units feel more diverse, perhaps some of the branching weapon upgrades could be done away with, particularly among the Battle Sister Squad, Retributor Squad, or Dominion Squad- perhaps they could only upgrade to one different weapon each. Though having the Celestian Squad be able to access varied weapon upgrades should stay, I think - they are obviously based on the Cadian Kasrkin squad.

I, for one, love the idea! I love the look and theme the Sisters have and would definitely want to see this in game. Sadly, I can't help with this project at all (assuming it even became a project) unless someone pointed me in the right direction as far as modding (in general) and what-not goes. I have no experience doing anything related to mods, but I'd definitely be willing to put in some hours to try to figure it out.
I'm not sure what all the hate is about, I would love to see this realized.

As for getting in touch with the original author's work: http://fok.dow-mods.com/
You might try getting in touch with someone there; I'm pretty sure that's where the author reposited his stuff, if he's even still active there, which it doesn't look like he is.
Re: Theorycrafting - Adepta Sororitas Army Roster
I wouldn't mind some bolter bitches in my game so I can have a permanent AP5 weapon in my pants all the time while playing them if you know what I mean. But srsly tho I guess a lot of people wouldn't want them even tho you can do alot of creative stuff in design with them.
Btw I don't think that SoB should be restricted to small number counts considering that the are not even close to combat capabilities as sm.

No
I am not interested in yet another human faction with more power armor.
Most people around here seems to be more interseted in Tau (God knows why?) and Necrons (DoWIII rumors?).
Personaly I think we should focus and work with what we got right now, striving for the best balance and game-play experience we can get.
And I welcome tweaking, adding or removing units, new/old sub-commanders, but I don't think we need a new faction.
