What do you guys think about the Lord Commissar Klaw and Fist?

Hi all,

I wanted to know what everyone thought about the Lord Commissar's Xenox Power Klaw and his Fist of Brockus - specifically how similar they are. In terms of damage they are identical: same damage per hit, same damage type, and same swing speed. The only differences are the req cost (200 vs 150), the tier in which they can be built (T3 vs T2), and the fact that the Fist has an amazing active ability while the Klaw has nothing.

Do you guys wish the weapons could be more differentiated? I can't think of an analogous example for any other hero. The WSE has two death spinner upgrades that have the same ranged DPS, but each offers a different active ability. The Klaw/Fist are different from the WSE gear because the only thing the Klaw offers is 50 less req cost and the ability to purchase it in T2 rather than T3, at the expense of any ability. This isn't necessarily bad, because some people may want the damage in T2 rather than waiting till T3 (I'd rather have the option to get a cheap fist T2 than to not have it at all), but it just seems like a boring way to fill a weapon slot. Also, the fact that the Klaw has no support ability doesn't seem to fit with the LC. Aside from the Emperors Wrath, which is pure lulzy nonsense and a luxury item, every other item the LC can purchase has an ability or passive that helps him synergize with infantry - the sword and fist both add to his support potential; the armour pieces each offer an improvement on his execution; and his aura and stubbornness provide support/synergy with infantry. The Xenos Klaw, however, is just a budget version of the fist with no support capacity.

How does everyone else feel about these two items? If you would like to see them differentiated, what could be done? Only changing the damage per hit seems uncreative, and since they are both powerfists I would assume changing one to power melee would piss people off due to lack of AV. As for the ability, one suggestion I've seen and liked was a debuff similar to the demoralizing ones used by units like Chaos Terminators (ie - for every hit he lands or every kill he makes the enemy is debuffed in terms of damage dealt or received).

Curious to know what other people think.

Klaw is basicially hard core melee option for LC. I like it, I use it. Klaw + Carapîce + Stubborness is a pretty scary build. Also; anti randeg walker weapon. Fist has only 1 ability but a pretty good one. It is a basicially a game changer.

There isn't a need for change or more differrence. You want ability on Claw? No thanks. I like it how pure damage it makes.
