Hi all,
Since the recent patch, I've noticed that my retreat orders are often very unreliable. Sometimes there is a significant delay but the unit will retreat, and sometimes my units will vocalize that they have started to retreat but not retreat at all. Just today, I had a unit of catachans who I told to retreat - they said "Get to that Valkyrie!", which they only say when entering retreat, but when I finished microing the other units in my army, I checked back on the catachans only to find that they had not entered retreat at all and they ended up being wiped. I know they did not enter retreat because I still had full control of them before they died.
I can't say that this happened right after the patch came out precisely, but it was around that time that I started to notice the issue. The only other thing that somewhat coincides with this is me getting a new modem which has been very subpar in performance; however, my games in general have not been laggy, it is just the retreat function (and very rarely movement orders) that is behaving poorly.
If anyone else has noticed this, or has any idea what the cause is I would be interested to know.
Retreat orders have been prone to failure/delays
Re: Retreat orders have been prone to failure/delays
It's a Relic feature. Not more frequent than any other patch.
