Okay, this topic is open for you guys. You can write down your own ideas for their lines and we can add them. Of cource, there will be a choice, not every line will make it. It is not a tournoment, just don't make it bad, okay? Cool, good, fair enough lines can be accepted but just don't make it bad. Yeah, I will accept, I made my self a modder now. Pretty easy isn't it?

Why Chaos Terminators than?

Because their voice will be mostly... umm, you know, bold and hard to decide who is acting it. Because I don't really know can we find someone with a good voice. It is good or bad, bold and hidden sound of Terminator helmet effects should give us the solution.

I am dropping my quotes here for now. We can remove mine lines, replace them, add new ones from you and fix them all. This is gonna take some time but worth it I belive.

It was brought up in another thread already, but there's some really good Chaos Terminator quotes out there created by George Exley. They're done in the DoW 1 format (moral break/recover, no specialized lines based on race, etc.) but they're very well executed. Not sure if there's any plans to contact him, or if he would agree to let his quotes be used regardless, but if they can be implemented, I feel they'd work perfectly.

Hey, thanks for the kind comments =). I've posted up a little offering in the Random section of the forum asking if you fellas would like me to do some custom voice work for the mod. I'd be quite happy to do some more 40K voices for a reason other than my own amusement, for any faction really. Be it Marines, Guardsmen, Chaos, Orks.....you name it, i'll do what I can =)

These are some pretty great lines and perhaps at some point I might take a stab at them and see how they come out, if I get the go ahead from the powers that be. I think some new topics regarding voice acting will be cropping up soon and assistance with script writing will no doubt be needed =)

I have an opinion as what to direction I believe this unit's voice should take. You have to rember that all Terimantors are veterans of some sort and as such have already seen most of this shit or at least they believe so. To reflect this their voice should be bold but also arogant, confident and maybe sometimes calm, composed or even melancholic a bit. Really the only time they should be panicked or excited is when they believe there's a chance they could die. I would also find it funny if they would get suprised by strange twists of fate would or if they would give advice on how to deal with different threats no matter how obvious or common it might be. So in that spirit here are some things I have thought of.

On arrival
-And they shall know true fear.

Capping order
-Simple enough... (You could keep it for an other unit)

After capping
-It is your to lose my lord.
-*sigh* Do not make me come back here...

Attack order
-*sinister laugh* (Really can be used just about anywhere...)

Under fire
-You will pay for your insolence! (Again can be used with almost anyone)

Getting inside transport
-Step asside!

Grenade warning
-*In a non-worried voice* Oh. Grenade. Be careful.

On metting allies
-Eldar allies... I did not expect this...
-Oh joy... More pretenders in the eyes of the dark gods. (Space marines)

There's a lot of great lines here, perhaps we can get this topic shifted over to where the new Kasrkin quotes are being assembled so we can keep all the lines in one place? In any case, it's shaping up really well and I love those Enemy Chaos spotted lines, they just ooze arrogance and superiority

Oh if anyone knows how to or knows some particularly clever audio folks who can replicate the vocal effects and filters for the units, that would probably help too =)
