Good day, lads and ladies!
I am here to draw your attention to the mod i've been vigorously developing over the last year.

The following is a copypaste from the mod's steam discussion thread.

Mod, currently in development. Revamps last stand, to bring much needed versatility and flavour to different classes.

Update1: OBT Release is today!

The Open Beta has the following features:

-Space Marine Captain: Total rebalance, complete.
-Imperial Guard: Total conversion, complete.
-Chaos Sorcerer: Now known as Chaos Champion. Total conversion, complete.
-Wave rebalance: Rebalanced waves 1-10. 10-20 To Be Done.
-Faction Passives: Enemies have passives. More details somewhere down in the thread.
-Bug fixes
-Overlord balance tweaks and exploits fixed (two, so far)


What is not present yet:

-Eldar rework
-Tyranid tweaks (no major rework)
-Tau rework (only tweaks have made it into OBT)


UPDATE2: after a year-long pause, i decided to release a OBT of what i have done so far.

What it includes:
Space marine: Largely complete. Some observable balance issues but largely fine.
Imperial guard: Complete. Balance is about right.
Chaos marine: Complete. Minor balance tweaks possible.

BONUS: Bloodied Colliseum - updated waves! wave 1-10 is no longer boring!
Waves 10-20 are not changed.

What it does not include:
Changes to Ork, Eldar and Tau

What has been done:
There is a different approach to the kit and levelling.
Higher levels unlock more specialized kit. Base level unlocks are usually more forgiving - does not make them less effective, as they are mostly all-rounders.

Known bugs:
Since most items are newly added (i.e. Chaos, where its pretty much an entirely different character), your kit can bug out when you go from mod- to no mod.
Effect: All the modded gear displays as a weird pic that says "IMG". When you try to unequip, it crashes your game.
Solution: Get past the initial loadout screen by simply having the "IMG" gear equipped.
After you're in the "search" screen, press Edit Loadout and remove the gear.
To save the changes, get into a match.

All I'd caution is nerfing the Overlord because perceptions of it being OP are at the moment (barring the obvious invincibility bug) are the same I've seen every time a new TLS hero was released. Tau Commander, and especially the Chaos Sorceror and Hive Tyrant on Chaos Rising's release. A lot of them have extremely high potential for very low effort.

Other than that, really good to see someone modding the Last Stand!

Overlord only had exploits patched so far; I even went as far as to give him a small buff (tesseract orb flight speed) to make him less irritating to play as.

Yo. I made a version of the fx for the Necron Green Warpfire Wall ability that doesn't look like he's summoning a bunch of sheets of paper from underground. Here if you'd like to use it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6Ktn5 ... sp=sharing

Want to draw more attention to this mod for sure, it seems awesome! And it's recently been updated too.

Would it be possible to move the thread to modding or general discussion?

The mod looks AWSOME ! I struggled a bit but I can show the short cut to set it up. Here are the steps to do it.

Looking for mates to play with.

Barely had time to launch Retribution of late but would be interested in doing this At Some Point™. Will provide Steam info when I have a bit more downtime and I've got this mod installed.

I am good at TLS, and I don't care if I play with experts or newbies.
