AI's approach to power nodes

Hi all,

First post on the forum but me and some friends have been playing elite mod for probably a year or so now (and I love watching your casts Indrid!) and I was after some thoughts/information.

I realise that elite mod is primarily a PvP mod, but we really enjoy co-operative games versus the computer AI. I know this particular 'bug' is already known about from reading some other threads, but it seems the AI will never attack and capture power nodes, but are perfectly happy to do so with VPs and rec points.


I guess my question is, would there ever be a version of elite mod (even as a separate release of some kind, such that perhaps there is a PVP and a Cooperative 'version') where the AI behaviour is restored?


PS - I put this in general as I figured it's not gameplay balance or a bug as such..

No but windu did give these instructions to make a sub mod so you can have attackable power nodes when you play with your mates
