I think one of the big problems with Zoanthropes has always been the ridiculous amount of health regen they provide, especially when they start levelling up. However, last patch, instead of adressing this problem, the Warp Blast was tweaked and the unit cost increased. While I agree with the price increase, I really think the snaring Warp Blast should be brought back. At the moment, Tyranids have no way of stopping enemy melee walkers in T2, and no way of countering tanks in T3.
I suggest the health regen bonus for the Zoan is lowered, maybe to something like a 2/3/4/5x modifier, or even a fixed increase, like +1hp/sec, +2hp/sec etc. on levelling, to prevent out of control health regen stacking with Brood Nests and stuff.
In addition, Focussed Warp Blast is reverted to its original state.

Well, they do have rippers, but I get why that doesn't satisfy many people. I've actually found the changes to focused warp blast make it more dangerous to light vehicles... zoanthrope spam can now take down light vehicles very quickly, without the need for a veno brood or another AV unit. If they gave focused warp blast the snare but reduced the damage then the zoans could contribute to the army's av by snaring vehicles, but still require an actual AV unit to do the killing.

I think the fact that getting to T3 against nids (which is practically impossible) basically guarantees a win if you can get a tank out atm - especially if the nid goes very heavy into T2. I think that's really cool! Before it was practically impossible tbh. The nid t2 made tanks mostly useless. Now this simple change makes them great!
I did oppose it at first because in terms of the nid meta this is a huge change. However it has given nids a clear weakness that I really like as it makes nids absolutely unique to fight - they're the race in which it is super hard to live until t3 with, but if you do you get a HUGE advantage, while simultaneously not being a race that suffers too much from experiencing a gen bash.
It does make nids suck in 3v3 though I admit. Really you have to just get through T2 ASAP now, maybe with one zoan and a venom at MOST. Then the fex spam. But for 1v1 this makes nids very very balanced. I love it.
