Had a few units retreat to a chimera beacon, but before they got there I had the chimera move. The units retreated normally there but when I wanted them to retreat to HQ, it's as if the beacon was still in effect even though it disappeared. Tried numerous times but they stood there retreating and stopping.
Enemy banshees at the supposedly nonexistent retreat point confused but nonetheless thankful that my units ran at them to die.

Replay file will probably help

Re: Chimera retreat beacon
Damn shame I ended up stupidly not saving it. Tried recreating it but no luck. I'll see if I can come across it again.
Re: Chimera retreat beacon
Reviving this old thread beause same thing happened with TM beacon instead
25:55 beacon dies, units still retreat to the dead beacon afterwards

Re: Chimera retreat beacon
I haven't seen the replay yet but want to say this.
If you retreat before the retreat point is destroyed, it's "normal" that units fall back to there even if it gets destroyed or deactivated.
If after they stop on the previous retreat point and you retreat again however they should be retreating to the closest retreat point.
