Just a basic question that I'm looking for some opinions on.
There's been a couple proposals, but they all boil down to two basic statements:
"Hold Fire should stay on a constant hotkey" - which is both what the original implementation of the ability (usually taking R) and what a proposal to put it on the H key (the farthest right) is ultimately about. In theses cases, there's going to be some exceptions. You should already know the ones in 2.6, but for the H key, IG HWT, Scout Snipers and potential TM and Mekboy would be exceptions.
"Hold Fire should take the first key available" - which is what I set it to now. The downside about this is that this means the Hold Fire key travels all over the place for different units. You'll have to basically learn where it is for each individual unit and it could just get messy and confusing.

What are your takes on this?

I don't have a use for it
Anywhere that doesn't mess up my normal hotkeys is fine for me.

Farthest right with the exception of repair units.

I think may be on a constant hotkey like "H" in the middle of the keyboard or in the eastern side of it

Ok, implemented. Hold Fire hotkey setup is now set to H by default. Exceptions are:
TM - E with Meltagun
Mekboy - Y with Deff/Beemy Deff
HT - Q with Venom Cannon
Scouts - Y with Snipers
HWT - Y
TM - E with Meltagun
Mekboy - Y with Deff/Beemy Deff
HT - Q with Venom Cannon
Scouts - Y with Snipers
HWT - Y

Consistent hotkey would be best. H is a bit far over, but should be fine?
