Your artwork is amazing! I'd like to see your take on the IG. Relic really half-assed the IG portraits - especially the storm troopers - but your stuff is better than the finest stuff that the original dow2 team ever put out.

Depends. Usually relatively fast 3-4 hours or so from start to finish. Sometimes more if I want to add finer details ^^ Technically I could do 2-3 per day Which I did with the 2x GK portraits ^^
However I need to do the commissions first ^^; Plus I'm looking for a job now which takes a lot of my time :/

Should I use the miniatures GK Termi helmet or the ones in the game for their portrait ? Frankly, the original terminator helms look a lot better ^^; And quite authentic might add

Uhm, as far as I know Purgation squad a ranged weapon upgrade ^^
However, the Purifiers have the Psy cannon, that works like the setup team's heavy bolter, hence the pic Plus their psycannon looks a bit different.
Plus they start out with a flamer xD (Incinerator)

Aye it is for the Purgation
The Purifiers will get a shiny power sword on their portrait :3 Since they are a dedicated melee troops essentially ^^ they can go ranged but they get the best out of it in melee especially with the Justicar getting a nice hammer :3

They can't get any ranged weapon indeed. They can only get a sergant upgrade (as far as I know) ^^

Right now I'm working on the two terminator variants (GK Terminator and Paladins) ^^
And no, I dont intend to work on the vehicles, since as you pointed out too, they are fine as-is ^^
The only vehicle I might touch are the walkers, since every chapter/legion has its own looking dread/venerable dread ^^ Though eldars and Orks usually have quite similar looking ones But can work on those too ^^

Apologise for being MIA ^^;
I just moved to Germany, München at the start of the month and I had to re-organise myself a bit at the end of august to make this happen

I'm more settled now, but being in a new country has its surprises xD
Anyways I'll try to do the 2x GK terminator variants in the next couple of days
